NOTE: This class was cancelled for fall 2018 because no one joined the first meeting.
This class can be scheduled again at some future time. Please talk to Rev. Paul and we can work to get this on the schedule.
Many Unitarian Universalists have come to this faith after sometimes difficult encounters with other faiths – whether as a child or as an adult. But finding the freedom and the real-world commitments of Unitarian Universalism cannot instantly solve a negative history with another religion. Sometimes our perspectives can be weighted down by a past we have not processed. This five-session class explores how you can live free of the bad parts of your faith journey while bringing the good forward to enrich the present. You don’t have to throw out baby with the dirty bathwater, so to speak.
Because this class builds each week on previous weeks, participants are requested to attend all sessions. No new participants may join after the first session.
