Christmas Eve

Each year our Christmas Eve service follows a “lessons and carols” form, with readings from Christian Gospels, poetry, traditional carols about the “First Christmas” that many of us grew up singing, and sometimes special music and reflections. We start with low light and gradually add candlelight, ending with the flames of our individual candles in our hands as we sing “Silent Night.” Come join us for this cultural and spiritual celebration of the arrival of something new and precious, the birth of hope.

In this service we will light the candles of the Advent wreath for the final time this year.
